2000dreams EnSem, based in central Europe, explores
the cross-current of both visual and movement process.
It emcompasses multi-faceted performance arts and
site specific live installations.
Because of it rooted in HumanSewingMachine,
a ex-butoh-based company,
2000dreams EnSem carries such asthetics as well as
one fundamental way of workings.
The EnSem’s recent interests/projects have been focusing
in cultural diversity and global mobility
and its effects on perceptions of the human physical
and emotional spheres.
In addition, to create site-specific works which transports
whatever space into a intimate internal emotional journey.
Drawing from her own resourcefulness as an artist,
Artistic director/resident choreographer,
Delphine Kini Mae works with a variety of raw materials
& devices such as photography, book art, fabrics,
anything hand-made and recycled from nature &
urban landscapes.
It has remained till today as her interest to work
with found objects,
interweaving them into her work.
The company consists of a rotating host of artists
from many genres:
media artists, visualists, dancers,
actors, sound artists,
and your normal happy-go-lucky citizens.
It has included combinations of different performance styles
such as
contemporary dances, oriental folk dance gestures/Butoh,
street dances, traditional mask dance theatre,
martial arts practices, ect.
2000dreams EnSem has performed and installed
widely in the US,
such as San Francsico(SF Film Festival opening gala,

Europe, places such as Amsterdam(OVT301 Danceshorts)
and Austria(SEAD/Lust am risiko, Diagonal Film Festival/

EnSem is not only interested in the traditional venues
but also open to the non-traditional, alternative spaces
such as normal streets
and abondoned housings for their explorations,
and,
to find different types of truth.
